We'd mitigate risk with planning. Haftesal has gas masks and a meat substitute that tempers hunger. I also have spare [ corpses ] rations for flesh eaters.

[ If anybody came along who wasn't, they'd need to hunt.....and hunt frequently. Yet this also produces a meat supply for said flesh eaters. It's a trade-off, and one whose advantages and challenges Saint-Germain has yet to fully assess.

The wild monsters, they'll certainly present an issue... How intelligent, how capable of planning, were they still? Could you tell? I'd heard they were both crazed and... corrupted in some way; but I didn't get much detail. It'd help to know whether we'll be dealing with crafty strategists or simple berserkers.

I experimented. They're nonverbal, and intelligence varies by creature. Think of them as monsters who are constantly in a frenzy state - violent and insatiable.

I'm going to hurt him back, the same way he hurt Ryou. I've asked a few others along. We'll go together -- that way, it's a show of strength. He'll know that it's not just one or two of us who'll have it out for him if he hurts Ryou again.

And retaliation will be more complicated than tracking down a single monster and getting them alone.

But, you should know...if you help with this, it's very possible that he WILL retaliate. I fought him once, the first time he hurt Ryou, one on one. It didn't stop him from doing it again. I hope if enough of us hit him, he'll get the idea, but...

He might not. And, if he doesn't, I can't promise I'll be able to prevent him from hurting you. Are you okay with that...?

AM's definitely someone else who knows how to torture people properly. That is literally his job, just 100% Professional Torturer. And after a certain incident... Yeah, the Ring-Spirit does need a moment to... breathe, if not to think. Though he should probably think this over too, shouldn't he? ]

The others who've agreed to be involved are Mukuro Ikusaba, Jonathan Joestar, and Beat, on the condition that Joshua Kiryu comes along in secret to monitor him.

Hm. You could use your webbing to set up a perimeter, if we find a good location to examine closely or we need to make camp. We also should check Spengler's for monster weaknesses. Equip ourselves to fight a variety of monsters at least long enough to escape. Silver, iron, salt - that kind of thing.
